Although I didn't know the Hawkes' personally I just would like to tell them how sorry I am for the family that loved them so much when their lives got tragically, senselessly snatched away. I read about it on the Internet tonite and just looking at the pic of Thomas and Jackie made me want to get remarried again, I have been pretty bitter since my divorce but their laughing, dancing smiles and eyes woke me up to let me know love DOES exist out there be it any length of time. God Bless Them.. |

| I didn't know Tom or Jackie but I have been deeply affected by their story. It is a tragedy that they are gone because some greedy, pathetic losers wanted to take what Tom and Jackie worked hard for...and it breaks my heart. You can see how strong and happy they were together. My condolences to the family for their loss. |

| I'm so glad he got the death penalty. He deserves it. I just wish the Hawks family didn't have to go through this nightmare. I hope God blesses them and brings them peace. Tom and Jackie seemed like such wonderful people. |

| When I seen your parents story on the news my heart broke. I will never understand the why people have such evil in them. Looking at the photos brought tears to my eyes. You could see in their eyes the love for life they had and each other. I know what it is like to lose your parents tragically. I lost mine in 1995 to a crime. Everyone to me it would get easier as time went by it still has not but you always have to remember the wonderful memories and remember they are still here in our hearts. |

It is rare when as a journalist I run short of words but somehow, today I do.My firm belief that the perpetrators of this evil will suffer is stronger only than that the victims are in a greater place, enjoying a rest "well deserved". Staff and Administration www.justicejunction.com |

I just read the book about this story and wanted to visit the site as well. The Hawks sound like amazing free spirited people who enjoyed every moment they had here. Thoughts & Prayers |

I came to know this case from a book passed on to me. It really touched me and I'm very sorry for the losses of all of those involved. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your parents remind me so much of mine and seemed like amazing people. No one can ever take those memories and times spent with them. That scum-bag will never get what he truly deserves, but lets hope for the maximum that our justice system can provide him. |

| I just finished reading the book about this case and came across this website from the book. This story has touched me deeply and I just want to say that my prayers are with the Hawk family. Although I do not know any of the Hawk family personally I got the sense from the book and this wonderful website just what a nice, strong and family oriented couple they were. I am truly sorry for their loss and those they left behind. It appears they have touched so many lives. God Bless... |

Matt and Ryan, I am grateful that you never gave up for your father. I hope they fry that SOB who killed just for the money. I am a mega supporter of the death penalty. Why should they be spared because they had a bad childhood. Keep up the good work. |
